In female infants, an inguinal hernia containing an ovary with or without Fallopian
tubes is not uncommon. However, an inguinal hernia containing the entire uterus and
both ovaries is extremely rare. Herein, we report on a case of an inguinal hernia containing
the uterus, both ovaries, and both Fallopian tubes, diagnosed by ultrasonography.
We discuss the case and review the relevant literature. |
