| Role of Ultrasound in Male Infertility |

| US evaluation is the mainstay of diagnostic imaging of infertile men. In this editorial,
we review the spectrum of diseases responsible for male infertility, discuss the way in
which US imaging studies can be used for evaluation of male infertility, and illustrate
characteristic US imaging features that allow for specific diagnosis. The discussion will
be divided into three main categories: obstruction in sperm passage, impairment of
sperm function, and defect in sperm genesis. |
