= Abstract =
The usefulness of CT and MRI in detection of confluent hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic liver disease has been documented in several reports [1, 2]. However, to our knowledge, focal fibrotic change that was only detected on ultrasonography and missed by CT and MR imaging has not been reported. Therefore, we report a case of the pathologically proven focal hepatic fibrosis presenting as a hyperechoic mass that was detected only by ultrasonography and missed by CT
and MRI. |
